New Year Already?

It has been awfully long since i updated my blog. So many things has taken place since the last time i actually had an entry. I think I won't go into details on those things..well, what the hell, i will try to put in as much as i can.
I am now at starbucks, sipping my frap. I was bored at home,so i came out to have a few puffs and check my mail.

Lets see, I will start after my birthday, personally, it has been a horrible year but my career wise, i can't ask for more. I actually went to a conferenced in KL, where they were talking about doing masters overseas. It has been my long time dream to actually do my masters, plus jim told me the best way t o do my masters is to do it in europe as they offer the best choices. I have done my researh and have finalised to two unis. We shall see, if all goes well, end of 2009, i will start my journey! But before that I have few things to settle back here. Like sitting for some english test ( requirement to enter unis overseas). So, keeping my fingers crossed! :)

Our company made profit beyond expectation! So, jim has promised me a new office for all the efforts i have put in to get the revenue that we have. We paid the deposit and we would be moving in back to cyber-fucking-jaya end of january, hopefully. Yeah, it does mean that more money for petrol and toll, but hey, if I am getting a new office, why not? We will be in SME 2, if anyone wants to visit.

My trip to penang ( long planned) because when they had the firefly and airasia sale war, i manage to get very cheap deals. The only destination I wanted to go was penang, because kartik was there and i know he can bring me around. I f I go anywhere else, I have to around myself, which sucks. Everyone else were busy during that period so, I booked for myself only. It was a fantastic holiday I must say, had fun fun fun. We didnt stay at home for more than three hours in total, all the time we were out.

Went to Tiffin's at ferringgi, because i booked for fine dining to celebrate kartik's birthday, so, all four of us, (kartik, surya, kevin and moi) went had a nice dinner, then went to gurney to have our martinis, then for few beers near slipery.

It has been more than 4 months, but i still think of my grandma all the time especially at night when i am going to sleep. Damn, I miss her terribly. As i told kartik, nothing I regret more than to loose the oppurtunity to say how much I love her before she left for good. I mean , I was not beside her when she passed away....:(

Vinosh's engagement! It was the engagement of the year! It was a totally rocking event. Food, booze and music, it was like a party! Everyone enjoyed themselves, i did anyways. Vinosh looked really good in his outfit and dawani was very bride-looking too.

Raya was amazing too, i spend most of the day in netty's crib. It was a fun reunion. Netty with her lapis raya kurung, and the crazy rest..hmm...i miss you guys, hey, i am meeting you all later hahahaha

Deepavali, well, it was ok. I was at home, bcos we couldnt celebrate. So, it was a family affair.

Kali's engagement. Another trip to penang. this is the trip which i regreted. Not bcos kali getting engaged but bcos what happen dispite that.Well, lets not get into details...:)

Christmas! yeay! I love christmas, I think this the day of the year that I look forward to all the time. We lit up the christmas tree in our office, go for christmas lunch, helen's house..and many more good things that keeps me off all my regrets, sour moments and other worries. I love christmas.

Met my school frens, helen, simon and lakshmi for coffee and we had the best time. We just sat and talked and talked...wow that was so great to catch up with them, after like 7 years, we still are good frens, amazingly.

I am suppose to do the flash presentation for helen's sister's wedding now, but instead i am sitting down updating my blog. hahaha, if only she knew..:P

New year, well, I am looking forward to it. I have a strong feeling that it is gonig to be a very good year. It better be as thsi year sucked so bad that even the flies wouldn'y come near!

Resolutions? Well, I never achieve any every year, so this year, i do have few which i know i am not gonna achieve but what the hell man, it's new year!

1. Do my masters
2. Get a new car
3. Convince my tenant not to move out
4. Go penang more
5. SAVE MONEY (most important!) but it is the last in my list..hehehe

So, to sum up the year and to look forward to a new year full of surprises (pleasant ones only!)
I would like to wish ALL of you guys Have a Very Good New Year, and wish you guys get everything that you wish for the whole year long. Those of you whom I have missed out this year, I promise to make it up to you guys next year by meeting up more regularly and yes, I will try my best to remember all of your birthdays! (Thanks to facebook, I don't think I will miss any) hehehe

HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS! LETS HOPE FOR THE BEST! :)

Sort of...

Updates, updates..

As Kams has stated on her blog, it has been like 4 funerals and a wedding.. so much has happened in my life that it feels like i am living a brand new life.

My beloved granma passed away. I was thinking twice wether I should write about it, and then i thought, why not? Here is the story..as most knew that I was raised by my grandma, lived with her up to 23rd of August, 2008. She passed away around 9.20pm on a Saturday. She passed away in University Hospital. Well, now you guys would know why I have not been attending any gatherings in August and September right?

My mum's brother, my uncle passed away the same day, so it was a double blow for me..but it is ok guys, I am ok right now eventhough once in a while i just go crazy as i will suddenly miss my grandma so much. Thats when I just go through all the stuff she left behind and I feel as though she is still around.

Jimpack and Jee got engaged on 1st September 2008. It was a wonderful event, in Malacca. Food was fantastic and Jee was small as usual. Jimpack looked smart? Well, why not give him the compliment. :p

It was my birthday on 13th September. Nantha surprised me with a piece of bluberry cake from secret recipe which i cut at pykut shop in bukit tinggi. Present there were high vasu, claiming everyone else is high lailo, vinosh, vinod, thines (i hope i got ur name right dude) and vinosh's bro in law. Well, that was a start for my birthday.

Then, met up with the joe, netty, dela, milo, kechik, reza at the curve. izar couldn't make it as he was in perlis. it's ok izar, i know u luv me :p..

My Aunty's father passed away 23rd September 2008, one month after my grandma's final day. It was a sad coincidents. But to tell the truth, I think 2008 has not been hell of a great year for me. Hmmm...

Now, present, it is Raya tommorow...all balik kampung already, but i am here in the office trying to put things together to get a clean start on monday next week...yes i have 5 days off :P

So, to all my frens, regardless of everything, SELAMAT HARI RAYA and maaf zahir & batin!

I will be waiting for invitations for Raya Open Houses ok! Happy Holidays! :)

Bits and pieces

So, it is mid-august. doesn't time pass when you have so many things happening?

It is all about personal gain nowadays, long gone times when people put others up-front before themselves. I don't understand that at all. I have never been that way. I will try my best to put my own benefits back, and put other's needs first. Some don't get it, as they think I want something from them, and some think I am just being kind, and don't really mean it...but I do!

I don't know aobut others, but for me, when I consider someone as a good friend. I will not hide anything from them. Why should you? It is not like they are going to do what you are going to do, or even try to stop you from doing something right? If they do, then they are not your friends.
One more thing, what is this matter about, I don't want to tell you anything because I don't know if you would understand or misunderstand. Crap I tell you, just crap.

Life is a big drama for some of us. Being mysterious doesn't make you intersting, it makes you annyoing, as you always don't open up and people get sick of you. correct? go ponder.
I had the pleasure of attending mel's wedding dinner. It was nice as all of us were there, a big party!! congrats mel & raphael!
One more thing is, I am a person who like to lend a helping hand where and when neccesary. I dislike people who come to me only when they need anything or something like that. I prefer genuine people who will be there when i need them too..whole lot of emotions dumped here..HAHAHHAHA
Our first medal eh? Silver somemore dont play play! i like badminton, but i prefer swimming and tracks. Something that finishes fast so that i don't get bored! hahaha

I need to highlight this that Malaysians should buckle up their english. I am nto saying I am good at it, I am not so good at it either, but come on, simple things also cannot spell means how la dei?

May GOD bless all of us.

This is hilarious

I found this on The Star Newspaper few days back, and i think I am more convinced that alcohol changes people. HA HA HA, if you know what i mean...

So big ah? Arrest me-lah -- so they did
By FARIK ZOLKEPLI

JOHOR BARU: A 28-year-old man was fined RM1,000 after he pleaded guilty at a Magistrate’s court here to preventing policemen from fulfilling their duties and insulting them with vulgarities.

R. Senthiresan had allegedly been under the influence of alcohol when he insulted the policemen and challenged them to arrest him in front of a restaurant in Taman Tampoi Indah on Sunday.
Police had gone to the restaurant after receiving reports of a drunken disturbance.
Senthiresan was charged under Section 186 of the Penal Code, which carries a three-month prison sentence or fine or both.

Magistrate Rasidah Roslee ruled that the accused would face imprisonment if he should fail to pay the fine.

At press time, Senthiresan had yet to settle the fine.

Seriously?

As lucky as I am, I had the oppurtunity to watch the movie, KUSELAN yesterday. For those who are not aware, this is another hyped about movie with Rajni in it. Well, here goes my review on the movie.

It started off kind of boring, really really boring til you feel like sleeping off. The same old story of a poor man couldn't afford to take care of his family. As time went, past 1 hour of the movie, Rajni came into the picture, as usual he has a "superb" acting. (huh?) Sorry to offend Rajni's fans, but seriously man, do not hype about the movie when he only appears for like 1/2 hour of three hour movie.

Nayanthara was just hot, in those skimpy skirt for one song which I do not think was necessary at all, but for the sake of nayanthra, I did not mind it at all. Being the best scenes in the movie, i realised no one got up to go to the washroom or answer calls when the song was going on. :))
I have to salute the art-director and cinematographer of this movie, fantastic work. I was abit annoyed with the dolphins though, you will know what i mean when you watch the movie.
Besides Nayanthatra was acting with just few words, and Rajni being himself, the rest of the cast potrayed their best. The comedy was not as impressive as I thought it would be considering almost all the comedian were in the movie.
P.Vasu, for the sake of viewers, get more creative man.

Livingstone was excellent! He played my favourite character in the movie and played it exceptionally good. Man, that fellow is fuuuunnny.
The last, climax of the movie seems to be the highlight, fantastic acting by Pasupathy. I found few people in the theatre crying for the climax, but I was laughing, you know me..:P, to my defence, it was tacky. Even then, i over heard few people say it was touching. *yeah right!

They have done it with mother sentiment, fathert, sister (vijay's fav), brother and this is more of friends sentiment...

I challenge the directors in India to do a remake of Hancock, and cast Rajni in it. Now, that is what you can call world class movie!

All I can say is, if you are going for the movie expecting something big, forget it, it is a total disapointment. If you are going to entertain yourself, forget it, go watch dark knight. And last but not least, if you are a big fan of Rajni, you would probably like the movie.

Where are we now?

What the hell is happening to Malaysia man? As much as I like to believe that everything is allright or at least, everything will be alright, it just seem like it is going on the opposite direction.

I have to admit, as much as I enjoy the saga that is taking place in the malaysian politics, I am kind of ticked by the ignorance the whole goverment has on us it's people. A good question is, how long more?

It has come to a point where what i earn does not cater for my daily life expenses. By mid of the month, I go broke. There are no sign of salary raise from my boss and pricing in TESCO has increased too, leaving me paying mre than what I usually do for groceries. What should I do? Change my life style? To what? I am already living a very moderate life. All the stuff I buy for home has changed to TESCO products all together.
GIANT pricing is almost the same as TESCO, so it doesn't help that much either. But in GIANT is where I found something precious and needs to be framed up.

Talking about the prices and lifestyle change which apparently almost impossible to do, I ask myself, why should I compramise on how I want to live my life as I work like a mad dog a whole week, to earn income that should allow me to live the life comfortably? Hello people in the cabinet, answer me...please? I remember talking to the lady who comes to clean the office, she said she earns around 3000 ringgit a month, which is way more than I do and she doesn't pay tax or any other bills, except for phone bills ( she has a better phone than I do by the way).
So, I have concluded, I need to start cleaning people's homes and get money? Is that what I should do? The Almighty prime minister should tell me the answer? Or will our good friend to all and I care about the people, someone sabotaging me, will do it? So, stop taking care of your own asses, and give us a break will you? For the love of GOD, I need my dosage of fun atleast once a month! Remember, we the people put you there, we can bring you down also, you are NOT the boss of us, infact it is the other way around. I am not only talking about the person in power right now, but also every other ass**le who is trying to get into power. Put the poeple as your utmost priority, not yourself, your family or your f**ked up friends.
Enough of the political storm hatred. Sometimes, I like to believe GOD plans something, and yes, he too makes the wrong decision. I like to think that because, I am a selfish person when it comes to certain issues, well aren't we all? I hate it when it turns out the opposite way of what i thought it should be. The devil comes in and changes everything, leaving you with nothing more than anger, disapointment and completely outraged.
End of the day, you just forget about it, as it is going to happen for only one day, and everyone will eventually get over it? Yeah right, it might be a start of something bigger than that. I hate to think it would and I hope it doesn't. (it seems whatever I hope for goes down the drain lately).
I am disapointed, very and in a situation of unable to do anything, as there is nothing in my hands to do. I was just not there at the right time, and right place, thats about it. I sometimes just feel like strangling YOU man. But a wise man (really?) told me to be happy, "haha man count d blessin tat im comin *** earlier dude"
the end.

Honesty?

There are few things bothering me lately. Honesty is the first thing.

How do you define honesty? It is kind of broad, lets narrow it down to honesty in a relationship. This means those of you whom are in a relationship have the priority to comment, but those who are not can do so also.

Let me ask you guys this question, you are in a relationship with your partner, then one day, you meet someone else and you become good friends, eventually, that friendship turns into admiration and before you know it, you have fallen for them. Is it possible to be in love with two people at one time? Will you guys let your current girlfriend/boyfriend know about the other person? Are you breaching the trust your partner has given you? Are you being dishonest?

I know from a lame man's eye, all you are doing is wrong, but to justify your situation, it is about you end of the day, right? What kind of relationship is it when you are not happy being in it? Should you be honest and tell your current partner that, you might be in love with the new person in your life?

On the other hand, to be fair to the current partner, all they deserve is the truth, playing behind their back with another person is not good, better to put it out there for them before it gets too late. Even if your partner has been the most honest person and never have cheated on you and has 101% trust on you, all you can do is go out look for some other relationship? You are being a bitch aren't you?

In this case, I would blame the third person, as he/she is stupid enough to get tanggled in a relationship with someone who is already committed to someone else. Are you out of your mind?

Well, it depends on what he/she have told this "friend" that made these new person fall for them? Don't you have self control? What have you achieved from all of this? Do you think you can live happily with what you have done? Don't you feel a little bit of guilt? Do you even have feelings at all?

What do you guys think? Is it right or wrong?

The Accused :
The Current Partner :
The "New Lover" :

Who is to be blamed? Could you live with yourself in that situation?

Let me know...because I really don't know..

Computex

So, I had the oppurtunity to go the Computex in Taipei. It was a tiring journey with transit to HK first. Delays due to storm and by the time we reached the hotel room, it was 10pm.
Took quick shower and walked out to check out the streets. It was not a good idea I guess because along the way, (looking for 7eleven) to buy smoke supply, bumped into like three different nightclubs and they were so annoying. When they see foreigners, all they think is you are there for some fun? helllooooo...
Bought my ciggies, and a can of beer....just wanted to try the chinese beer. :p the next morning got up at 8am, went for the free breakfast downstairs, then left to the hyatt (where the exhibition was) around 11.30am. Went straight to Nero room which was like on the first floor, like a penhouse like that with a hugeeeeee balcony over looking taipei 101! it was huge! you can have a bbq party there..

Then around 2pm went walking through the exhibition. many interesting stuff there. one that caught my eye was the watch-phone. it's a watch and a mobile phone. the design was cool too, i don't mind wearing it if it is in our market.
Another one was the ipod-speaker-dancing-soft-toy ahahha, yes it is exactly what it means. You but the soft toy on top of the ipod speakers and the thing sings and dances to the beat of the song! incredible!
And then there were the dancers on stage and all...some were freaking hot! and some were like really? thats all you can find?
It was around 7pm we headed over to the hotel back. i tido jap bcos my legs were killing me! got up around 9pm and left to have dinner. Jim said we shall go to this place, ruth's chris steak house. If anyone goes to taipei, you have to go eat here..incredibly delicious food. i had lamb and martini, shaken not stired. :p the price was abit on the expensive side but it was all worth it.
They had the best cremebrule..it just melts in your mouth..ahhhh

Next day, i got up at 7am, went down for breakfast. and the day started. there was another show at another place that you need to take the free feeder and go. So, went there, met few malaysians..i know they are malaysian because they kept using lah at the end of all their staements :)
Got the chance to go to taipei101. Incredible technology. They claim they have the world's fastest lift, trust me it was fast. the top of the lift got like space deco which plays along with some music...damn nice.

It didnt feel that tall though, i think klcc felt taller. and yes, i have been to the top of klcc, don't be jealous ah! :p
Then came down, camerawhoring there and here while waiting for our meeting with nero officials at 6pm. Jim wanted to meet up with steven since he was down from australia too. so met him around 5pm til 6pm , then rush to the nero meeting. after the meeting went for dinner at a korean bbq place, japanese loves korean food, i dont mind it either..
Then, balik hotel, i was sleept off straight away. jim called to the room and woke me up at 6.30am! need ot go for breakfast and catch a bus back t the airport. then, see see reached airport too earply pulak. so, went around the airport, didnt buy anything...:( no money..
Then went to the boarding area and started camera whoaring again...hahahaha

Reached KLIA around 7.30pm got the chance to take the sunset pic! it was nice. then by the time i reached back home it was 10pm, and slept...end.

Top 5 Lists

On the way back from Malacca the other day, I thought of doing the top 5 lists according to my views on stuff.
So, here we go..my first top 5 list would be ..

The Top 5 Hotest Hollywood Actresses.

Salma Hayek - Sizzling Latin that makes you watch through a movie, even when the story is crap.

Angelina Jolie - The Ever Sexy Lips that makes your knees weak and those two....eyes , gets me turned on and on and onnn...

Jesica Biel - What a body...perfectly toned and firm. Eventhough acting is not really her strongest asset, everything else is a reflection of God's perfection.

Jesica Alba - What can I say? Perfect skin tone, perfect body, perfect smile, perfect attitude..every guy's dream to take her home..and of course there is the acting too.

Kiera Knightley - Hotness level 101%. The perfectly made everything. A package you could die for. And that british slang...oh GOD do have mercy on me! Thank you lord for Kiera!

Champions League Winner

So, I got up around 2am to watch the Champions League finals in Moscow. For the fans' sake, Klang Steakhouse was open and yes, me and lailo were there. It was a predictable game. Both teams were good, although Chelsea was attacking more on the second half of the game and also during extra time. Man U was only playing well before Lampard scored the goal for Chelsea.

One thing I realised is that Man U depend so much on Ronaldo to play, unlike Chelsea who seem to be more generous on who takes the shots on the post. First half, very entertaining, second half, exciting, extra time was like it never gonna end and the penalty shoot-out was the icing. Although deep down I wanted Chelsea to win, but I think the luck was on Man U's side. Terry has to slip and fall and Ronaldo "the hero" had to miss the shot.
One more thing is, Pak didn't play for Man U. Disapointing because if he did, he would be the only asian on the field. :)

Eventhough it was a bit long, too early and the crowd at steakhouse were extremely entertaining, I have only one regret. I just wish Drogba would have slapped Vidic a bit HARDER!

CHARLTON FOR LIFE!

Quit Smoking

I was watching Oprah reruns on Hallmark just now. The topic was quit smoking or as she says it, breathe easy..because when you say quit smoking, it gives a negative sign to the brain.
I have to agree to one extend with the doctors who came to talk and motivate people to quit smoking on the show. They said it all depends on the person themselves, if they really want to stop it, surely it can be done.
A lot of things influence someone to start smoking and also to stop smoking. Ben Affleck stoped because of his daughter. Some quit with external factors, like nagging from wives or girl friends or even friends. Some quit because of internal rejection, thats when they realise themselves that what they are doing is wrong. But even the best wouldn't be able to quit if they don't get a bit of help.
They have few types of medicine that can help you to kick the habit. Nikotine patches and some other drugs which I can't remember the other names though..they mentioned that all the help you can get is on oprah.com. Go see la for yourselves. They made one good point, those who say that they have lessen their intake of ciggarette smokes, doesnt necessarily mean they will succeed quitting. It doesn't happen that way because every ciggaratte stick that you have will make you wanna have another and another.
Somehow all these suppose to make sense. Does it? It doesn't to me...hahaha

Tell me if you manage to kick the habit ok? I wanna know.

Top 5 Sexiest Islands in the World

The sexiest islands, of course, are about escapism. These are places where the normal codes of conduct are packed away with the empty suitcases and exhibitionism, whether physical or financial, becomes the order of the day. In such a hedonistic world, restraint is forgotten; yachts jostle for moorings in the harbor, trying to outdo each other in splendor and size; champagne is consumed like water; and work becomes a four-letter word. The primitive rules of attraction run rampant down the sandy beaches and through the rooms of rented seaside villas.

What Makes It Sexy: This tiny, exclusive island's luxurious resorts, pure white beaches and remote location in the Pacific will make you feel like the only two people in the world.

What Makes It Sexy: Temperate climate, hob-knobbing with the jet set and a huge variety of nightclubs and restaurants--Capri's sexiness can be tiring for even the sexiest.

What Makes It Sexy: French attitude with Italian weather and food.

What Makes It Sexy: Elba's tiny towns and vistas over the ocean will have you taking long, romantic walks over Napoleon's old stomping grounds.

What Makes It Sexy: Enormous sand dunes provide plenty of space and privacy for frolicking on the beach.

Just a guide to those who are gettingmarried, potential honeymoon escapades.....:)

Fifteen : It's Awesome

This might be abit off from what I usually listen to, music wise. I am addicted to the sounds of Buckcherry now!

These guys are awesome! You should listen to their songs. Their amazing. My favourite is the crowd-pleaser, Sorry :

Man, their songs, incredible and lyrics just blows your mind away. I would reccomend their album to everyone. If you guys don't believe me, just check out the song on top.
I have included lyrics to that song here :

Sorry
Oh I had a lot to say
was thinking on my time away
I missed you and things weren't the same
Cause everything inside it never comes out right
And when I see you cry it makes me want to die

I'm sorry I'm bad,
I'm sorry you're blue,
I'm sorry about all things I said to you
And I know I can't take it back

I love how you kiss,
I love all you're sounds,
and baby the way you make my world go round
And I just wanted to say
I'm sorry..

This time I think I'm to blame
it's harder to get through the days
You get older and blame turns to shame

[ Pre-Chorus ]

[ Chorus ]

Every single day
I think about how we came all this way
The sleepless nights and the tears you cried
it's never too late to make it right
Oh yeah sorry!

[ Chorus ]
Go check it out man. Their songs play in my pc every single day in the office and back home now.
It is a good theraphy, as you feel better after you listen to their songs, no matter you are sad, stressed, pissed off or just plain bored.

I have one more favourite called Crazy Bitch :
